Cookie & website technologies policy

1. Current site status

• No first-party KiloCash cookies.
• No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar audience measurement.
• No advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking code.
• No use of localStorage or sessionStorage.
• No account, login, basket or saved-preference system.

This description covers the website code dated 18 July 2026. A hosting platform or linked third-party site may operate its own infrastructure separately, as described below.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks a browser to store on a device. Cookies can support essential functions, remember choices, measure visits or support advertising. Similar technologies include local browser storage, tracking pixels, software development kits and device identifiers.

UK rules normally require clear information and active consent before non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used. Storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the visitor can be exempt from consent, but should still be explained.

3. External services loaded by the page

Although KiloCash does not set cookies itself, the page requests some files from other organisations. A normal web request can reveal an IP address, browser/device details, referring page and request time even when no cookie is set.

Those organisations control their own services and may process connection data under their own privacy and cookie information. KiloCash does not use these requests to build advertising profiles.

4. Hosting and security logs

The website host and network providers can create short technical logs when a page or file is requested. Logs commonly include an IP address, request time, requested file, response status and browser details. They are used to deliver the site, investigate faults, manage capacity and protect against abuse.

These logs are not browser cookies. Their retention and location depend on the hosting provider. KiloCash will use any host-provided logs only where reasonably needed to operate, secure or diagnose the website.

5. What happens when you choose WhatsApp

A WhatsApp button takes you away from the KiloCash website to a service operated by WhatsApp/Meta. If you use the booking form, the details you entered are prepared as a draft message. You can review or discard that draft before sending it.

WhatsApp may recognise your app or browser session and use cookies or similar technologies on its own service. Those technologies are controlled by WhatsApp/Meta, not KiloCash. If you do not want to open WhatsApp, call or text 07405 726180 instead.

6. Your browser controls

Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies, clear site data, or restrict third-party storage. Look under “Privacy”, “Security”, “Cookies” or “Site data” in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies can prevent some external sites from working correctly, although it should not affect the core KiloCash information pages.

Clearing KiloCash site data will not remove information already sent through WhatsApp, text or telephone. Contact KiloCash under the Privacy Notice if you want to exercise a data-protection right over information we hold.

7. If the website changes

If KiloCash later adds analytics, advertising, embedded media or another feature that uses non-essential cookies or similar storage, we will update this policy and provide a consent choice before that technology runs where required by law. Refusing non-essential technology will be as easy as accepting it.

The “last updated” date at the top identifies the version currently in effect.
